Alejandro is Founder and CEO of Alto Social Analytics. Alto provides real-time actionable insights from social and digital media big data across 125 countries and 53 different languages. Alto’s clients include global enterprises and non-profits such as Telefonica Group, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Santander Group, Samsung, Repsol, Mozilla Foundation, Philips, Ferrovial, BBVA, Orange, Bankinter or Ikea among others.
Alejandro holds a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Eng.) specialized in Electronics and Automation from UMA University (Spain) and an MBA from Henley Business School (UK).
Before founding Alto Social Analytics, Alejandro successfully steered global companies in digital industry development in more than 20 different markets. Starting out with Alcatel-Lucent, he later joined Vodafone Group where he forged strategic worldwide relationships with global partners such as Yahoo!, Microsoft, YouTube, eBay and Google. He went on to develop the Yahoo! Business in Southern Europe before becoming Vice President of digital media and business development at MTV with a remit across Southern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa.
Alejandro is also an advisory board member of Senzari Corp, a San Francisco (US) based company that develops premium digital recommendation services based on big data analytics.
