- Alejandra Brandolini: “An organization is structured as a network of mutual promises”
- Núria Vilanova: “The biggest challenge in internal communication is transforming employees into brand ambassadors by getting them involved in a common project”
The World Public Relations Forum (WPRF), that is being organized by Dircom (Spanish Association of Communication Directors) together with the Global Alliance, and taking place in Madrid from the 21st to the 23rd of September, will include a session dedicated to internal communication on a global scale.
The speakers on this panel will be Daniel L. Ambühl, President of the FEIEA Council and President of the Swiss Association for Internal and Integrated Communication, Carlos Manuel de Almeida, General Secretary of the FEIEA, Alejandra Brandolini, President of AB Communications, and Núria Vilanova, President of Inforpress Group.
According to Alejandra Brandolini, “an organization is structured as a network of mutual promises” between the company and the people linked to it, like its employees. Internal communication develops as a consequence of this relationship, strongly impacting corporate reputation and forcing directors to “achieve commitment in a corporate speech that everyone shares and that’s aligned with the business strategy”.
Núria Vilanova, also a speaker at the session, declares that the biggest challenge in internal communication is “transforming employees into brand ambassadors by getting them involved in a common project”. In the future we must get employees to “co-leader the organizations in everyone’s benefit” with support and commitment, because corporate decisions are no longer taken exclusively in offices or meetings.
Also in this session, from a people, value and content point of view, the analysis will be focused on the worldwide communication challenges that organizations face and the practices that will lead to change in the future.
