Gemma has more than 15 years experience managing communications for leading global brands in Europe, Asia, Middle East and the Americas (Deloitte, Council of the Americas, ESADE, Weber Shandwick, Isofoton). She has worked in the US (New York) and Spain coordinating projects and teams across countries, and positioned firms and executives in the global media and in renowned forums (Davos, WEF, UN, Harvard, G8).
Gemma has also been a business/finance journalist (Vanguardia and El Periódico) and worked for a renowned lobby in the US (Council of the Americas).
While in the US, Gemma was President of the International Commission of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in NY until Jan 2012. She also wrote book for a European Parliament member: “The Economic Impact of Spanish Integration in the EU”.
Gemma holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Economics/Business from the University Autonoma of Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Pompeu Fabra University. She is multilingual (English, French, Spanish).
