Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Avertising at CEU-San Pablo University, Faculty of Humanities and Communication. He also teaches at different Universities and Business Schools in Spain (UAB, UCM, IdEC-UPF, UIMP, and MSMK) as well as in Chile (UDP). He previously taught at other academic institutions (ESADE, ESIC, UC3M, CESMA, and CUV). He holds a PhD in Communication Sciences at UCM, an MSc in Marketing Management at ESADE, a Postgraduate Degree in Corporate Communications at UPF, a Postgraduate Degree in Political Communications and a BA in Journalism at UAB. He also completed an Executive Programme in CSR at IESE and in Corporate Reputation at IE. He is member of the Academic Development and Research Section at DIRCOM.
In the professional area, he has over 20 years of experience working for blue cheap companies as a consultant (Director of Public Affairs, Issues & Crisis Management at Weber Shandwick in Spain, responsible for the Areas of Brand and Talent at Villafañe & Associates, and Reputation Strategist at Branward) and manager (Corporate Communications Director at Leroy Merlin in Spain). He previously worked for Ulled & Associates and Inforpress (PR agencies), the Press Office of the Universal Forum of Cultures-Barcelona 2004 and the Popular Party as well as for the economic journal Expansión. He is currently a Senior Consultant specialising on Intangible Assets Management (Reputation, Brand, Identity, Culture, Talent, and CSR), Contributor at Corporate Excellence-Centre for Reputation Leadership, and member of UP there, everywhere, global cloud based agency.
